2014 BANN Conference

The 43rd Autumn Conference 2014 was held at the Palace Hotel Manchester on the 17th & 18th October. 

The conference covered many sub-specialities in neuroscience nursing including; Neuroscience critical care, Neuro-oncology, Neurorehabiliation, Neuromedicine and Spinal surgery/ Neurosurgery.

2014 Conference Best Oral and Poster Awards
 

Best Oral Paper Award was awarded to: 

Nursing rehabilitation in the acute setting -  Caroline Woon,  Clinical Nurse Educator,  Wellington Hospital, New  Zealand

The Bernie Selley Poster Prize was awarded to: 

Facial palsy following vestibular schwannoma surgery: A multidisciplinary approach to optimal management - Andrea Wadeson, Skull Base Specialist Nurse Salfrod Royal NHS Foundation Trust Salford
