2017 BANN Conference

The 46th Annual BANN conference was held in Oxford 20th -21st October 2017

Hosted by Oxford University Hospital Trust and Buckinghamshire New University

The conference was held at the newly refurbished Jurys Inn Hotel and Conference Centre

Bernie Selley Poster Prize was awarded to Michael Keeling, Stroke Specialist Nurse, York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for his poster on Triage, treat and transfer model of hyperacute stroke care. T

Best Oral Paper was awarded to Clare Lynch University Hospital Birmingham for her paper on Keeping an accredited neuro course afloat in the West Midlands

Best Novice Paper presentation was awarded to Hannah Braun and Emma Steam, Oxford Brookes University for their paper on Facilitating learning within neuroscience placements: a student nurses experience

The Society was founded in 1971 at Manchester Royal Infirmary as the British Society of Neurosurgical Nurses (BSNN).  The Society changed its name to the British Association of Neuroscience Nurses (BANN) in 1998. Our Equality & Diversity statement »
