11th EANN Quadrennial Congress in association with BANN & SBNS

The 11th EANN Quadrennial Congress will be in association with BANN & the Society of British Neurological Surgeons  

Date: 19th -21st March 2019

The unique event combined the 48th Annual BANN conference (2019) with the 11th EANN Quadrennial Congress and the SBNS Spring meeting. The Congress was attended by over 500 delegates and provided a fantastic appropriate for Nursing, Medical or AHP colleagues to come together from around the world to network and share neuroscience knowledge and clinical excellence -  http://www.eann.info/neuro2019/

The Congress  was held in Manchester Central Convention Complex a Grade 2 listed building converted from the former Manchester Central railway station. 

Bernie Selley Poster Prize was awarded to Gillian Cluckie Stroke Nurse Consultant & Helen Woods, Neurovascular SpN Neuroscience Department, St. George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London UK  "What are the roles performed by neurovascular clinical nurse specialists in telephone clinics for patients after subarachnoid haemorrhage?"

Best Oral Paper was awarded to Andreas Andrea Wadeson, Skull Base Clinical Nurses Specialist, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Salford, UK.  "Vestibular Schwannoma Surgery: Pre-operative Intratympanic Gentamicin to Alleviate Post-Operative Vestibular Symptoms"

 

The Society was founded in 1971 at Manchester Royal Infirmary as the British Society of Neurosurgical Nurses (BSNN).  The Society changed its name to the British Association of Neuroscience Nurses (BANN) in 1998. Our Equality & Diversity statement »
