Supporting and enhancing the development of competence in neuroscience nursing

Advanced Practitioners (Neurosurgery)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Advanced Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists working in a neurosurgical environment to learn advanced practical skills in a safe, supportive simulated environment.

The course will be delivered by a faculty of enthusiastic experts from around the country including advanced practitioners, consultant neurosurgeons and specialist pharmacists. 

The course is designed as the first stage in supporting the learning of practical skills in a simulated environment before being taken back to the clinical area where they can be developed under supervision towards competency and independence. The course has been designed in conjunction with and support from BANN, the SBNS and Barrow UK.

Venue: Clinical Skills Suite at University Coventry Hospital, Clifford Bridge Rd, Coventry CV2 2DX

Costs: Free registration and accomodation B & B at the Holiday Inn, Coventry 25th January for those who have registered. Travel costs to and from the venue is not included.
