Membership

BANN is a member of the European Neuroscience Nurses Association (EANN) and a society member of the World Federation of Neuroscience Nurses. A GENERAL member is a registered nurse who is working in or affiliated with neurological and/or neurosurgical nursing.

Affiliated Membership

In the interests of effective interprofessional working and learning, BANN has agreed to broaden its membership base to accept Affiliated Members. BANN may accept or will consider affiliated membership of national, regional or international organisations related to Neurosciences.
Affiliated membership costs £15.00/year for individuals & £1.00/person if an association joined.

The Society was founded in 1971 at Manchester Royal Infirmary as the British Society of Neurosurgical Nurses (BSNN).  The Society changed its name to the British Association of Neuroscience Nurses (BANN) in 1998. Our Equality & Diversity statement »
