The groups vision

To provide an active network to share knowledge and expertise in order to share and help shape the future of Neuroscience Nursing by developing best practice guidelines.

Our Aims

The network aims to:

  • Develop Neuroscience Benchmarks that will provide the “Best Practice Guidelines” and service delivery
  • Exchange information for the advancement of practice development in Neuroscience
  • Influence policy decisions at local and national level with the development of neuroscience Benchmarks
  • To encourage collaborative evidence based practice within Neuroscience Nursing

This group was established in the 1990's as a result of growing concerns over inconsistencies in practices, acknowledging that the clinical practice benchmarking process had the potential to address these concerns and produce sustainable improvements.
